We are HIMAKOM — the Computer Science Student Association of Universitas Gadjah Mada. Building people, projects, and momentum since 1998.
We exist to make computer science at UGM more human, more rigorous, and more rewarding — for everyone in the room.
A home for every Ilmu Komputer student — from freshman onboarding to senior mentorship. We make 350+ feel like family.
Workshops, study groups, and project sprints across web, AI/ML, systems, and competitive programming. Ship things that matter.
Tech-talks with industry, internship pipelines, and the annual recruitment fair. We open doors before you knock.
HIMAKOM started as a handful of students who wanted to talk about code outside of class. Twenty-seven years later we run flagship events, partner with major tech companies, and welcome every new cohort with the same opening line: "glad you're here."
We're a semi-autonomous body under DTETI FMIPA UGM, and we host Omah TI — a student-led tech development hub powering the next generation of Indonesian engineers.
